<text>
The Pilates technique was developed in the early 1900's by Joseph Pilates. He called it "contrology" because of the controlled nature and discipline of the exercises. Pilates has found popularity with people of all ages and body types because of its attention to posture, strength, flexibility, balance, control, and muscular symmetry. By focusing on the core muscles while keeping harmful pressure off the joints, Pilates provides a complete and safe body workout.
The benefits of Pilates are more than just what you will see in the studio. Once you have learned the fundamentals of Pilates, you will see the benefits in all facets of your life---from more energy and strength to improved posture, flexibility, and balance.
<text>
Pilates builds functional muscle (muscle that performs in many directions), flexibility, and endurance. Pilates conditions the body as a whole, training several muscles at once. No muscle group is over- or undertrained.

There are over five hundred different exercises with equipment pilates and another 1000 variations and modifications. Every exercise is done in a particular sequence with a high degree of precision and mental focus. As the client progresses, the workouts become more challenging and aerobic because they work several muscle groups at the same time. The movements are inherently more effective because they stretch one muscle group while strengthening another requiring a great deal of abdominal control.

Pilates captures the benefits of Eastern exercise philosphies (such as yoga, Thi Chi, and Qi Gong) by emphasizing mental focus, breathing, and flexibility.

Whether you are healthy and just want to take yourself to a new level of strength and flexibility or you have health issues, let us introduce you to the Pilates method.

A golf swing involves the whole body and the act of swinging a golf club is an extremely demanding sports activity.

Think about the following:
* the swing produces many times your body weight in compressive forces on the spine
* the swing takes place in approximately one second and many times in a round
* the vast majority of golf injuries are not the result of a single traumatice event, but instead occur as a result of tissue damage sustained over time from misuse, overuse, and improper swing technique

The majority of "swing faults" are actually "body faults." Simply put, if you're not strong and flexible, your body will suffer and so will your golf game.

Our program design:

* Golf swing body evaluation

* Golf swing evaluation from PGA teaching professional

* Pilates exercises designed to improve the golfing body, thus improving the golf swing

You know the game of golf. We know how to make your game of golf better.
